How Do I..?

Welcome to our County FAQ page!

We’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions residents and visitors have about county services, programs, and resources. Whether you’re looking to pay your property taxes, apply for permits, participate in local government, or report an issue, this page provides quick links and helpful information to make it easier to connect with your county offices.

You can pay your property taxes online through the County Treasurer’s secure payment portal. Visit the “Pay Taxes” section on the homepage, select your payment type, and enter your parcel number. Payments can be made using a debit/credit card or e-check. Please note that convenience fees may apply.

Building permits can be applied for online via the County Permitting & Inspections portal. You’ll need to create an account, upload your plans, and submit all required documentation. Once submitted, you can track your application status and receive updates by email.

You can register to vote, update your address, or check your registration status on the State Election Board website. Registration forms are also available at the County Clerk’s Office and public libraries. Deadlines for registration are typically 30 days before an election.

The County Calendar on the website lists all upcoming meetings, hearings, and community events. Agendas and minutes are also available for past sessions. You can subscribe to email notifications to stay updated.

Use the “Report an Issue” form under the Public Works section of the site. You can describe the issue, upload a photo, and provide the exact location. Reports are sent directly to the County’s maintenance department for review and scheduling.
